Summer fun

The boys have really enjoyed playing outside more this summer, especially since we got them a sweet playhouse off craigslist. They love to color with sidewalk chalk (mostly on the fence, playhouse, and back door and only rarely on the actually sidewalk), go down their slide, splash in the water table, and hang out in the playhouse.  Oh yeah and make a huge mess with any dirt they can find!

The following are a series of pictures I took from inside while Gavin chalked up the window in our back door. He gets really intense when he colors and I love all the facial  expressions he makes. Enjoy.

In addition to getting chalked, the back door also occasionally receives the hoe treatment.



Drew's favorite place to be outside is in the playhouse...though you wouldn't really know it looking at these pictures :)

My favorite is watching them play together...

...well...play at the same time in the same place while ignoring each other is probably a more accurate description. Still, it's cute.
