The Dryer Club

You might remember a few months back when Gavin climbed in the dryer.

Well Andrew recently joined the club. He was super proud of himself.

oh how I love that little mug.

new toys

A few months back I decided we were in desperate need of some new toys so off to WalMart we went.

I've been wanting to get the boys little chairs forever, but they are so ridiculously expensive. I was super happy to find these for only $5 a piece. They of course broke them in by watching Curious George, their new favorite show.

I'd also had my eye on some magna doodles. I figured they would like them and I wouldn't have to watch them like a hawk when they colored (they still eat crayons, yuck!). They loved them at first, but have since gotten a little bored with them.

It was absolutely darling to watch them sit in their chairs with their new magna doodles and color to their hearts' content!

I grossly underestimated how much I would enjoy buying toys for my kids. Best. thing. ever.

Lowes is the place to be

Our boys love  to go to Lowes and here some of their reasons why:

1. They  have awesome fountains to splash in, which we aren't allowed to splash in any more because our parents have deemed them unsanitary. Well it was lots of fun while it lasted.

2. There are lots of cool chairs and benches to sit on. Mom insisted we sit on this lame-o tiny size bench for a picture. We prefer to sit in the adult sized furniture as it makes us feel all-powerful, which of course we are.

3. (Not pictured) There are all kinds of cool textures (carpet samples!) and colors (paint color samples) to play with.

4. (Not pictured) The indoor lighting aisle is our favorite and we spend plenty of time there oooing, awwing, and pointing at all the lovely fragile lights while our parents attempt to keep us from breaking anything. Really, it's fun for everyone.

5. It helps to have a big strong daddy around who can haul you around in a bucket that was meant for just someone your size. Seriously, better than Disney World. At least that's what our parents tell us...

Chances are if you visit our local Lowes you'll see us running up and down the aisles, sometimes in opposite directions just to keep things interesting while our parents attempt to keep up. Somebody has to help them get some cardio in!

Andrew's Latest Discovery

This funny little guy has discovered plugging his ears (and how it makes things sound different)! Which he especially loves to do during meal times, when his fingers are, of course, covered in food. It's darling! It'll be interesting to see what our pediatrician says about his ears next week :)
