Sunday was our one year anniversary. Hard to believe it's been that long! On the other hand it's hard to believe it hasn't been longer! Time is funny like that.
Since our anniversary fell on Sunday this year we decided to go out and celebrate a bit early. We got all gussied up and headed to a local restaurant multiple friends had recommended to us. We enjoyed dressing up, but turns out we were a little overdressed for the place we went--hahaha! Nothing like those slightly awkward moments in life to make you laugh. The food was great (and the company even better :)) I ordered a steak (which I don't think I've ever done before) and it was DELICIOUS! I've been craving steak ever since :)

Later that night we tried to go star gazing, but happened upon the tail end of a fiddle festival instead. So we opted to enjoy some bluegrass music instead.
Nathan also put his culinary skills to work on Sunday to whip us up something special. Unfortunately for me my pregnant appetite turned it's nose up at the chicken stuffed with sun dried tomatoes, olives, and breadcrumbs, but the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes were a hit! Plus you can't go wrong with a little Martinelli's to top off a great meal!

It's kind of hard to believe that just one year ago we were doing this:
It has been a crazy year for us, full of blessings and trials, but I can honestly say it has been a good year. A very good year.
