Our Southern Gentlemen

Porch sitting is an old school southern tradition. Meaning you mostly see the older generation doing it.
But our boys are bringing it back.

They love to sit at the door and watch passersby. Especially, when the school bus drops off all the kids in our neighborhood. They may or may not try to get the kids attention by baby "shouting" at the kids as they walk by. Hmmm...we might need to set up some play dates for these two.

Luckily at this point they still hate the texture of our front mat so it is pretty effective at keeping them inside.

These two love the outdoors. Andrew cries when we open the door and don't give him a chance to get his outside fix.
It might be a very long winter...
But for now I love watching our little Southern gentlemen enjoy the outdoors.

How cute! And it's amazing that they stay inside . . . if Forrest even HEARS someone open the door he scurries over as fast as he can and tries to escape. And if we don't let him, he'll stand there with his nose pressed up against the glass and whine about it. How sweet that they just sit and watch :-)

Sounds like you need to get a couple of those rocking chairs from Cracker Barrel!

Cutest thing. I love how they are both interested in and dislike (floormat) the same things.
