These are all pictures from our drive through Colorado. The West! We ran into a really crazy rain storm in a canyon on the way to Denver, luckily we made it out alive. The next day we got up really early and headed to Iowa via Nebraska. The first place we stopped to get gas we saw this...
So apparently this town in Nebraska likes to kick it a little differently.
Nebraska sky---------------------------------Nebraska cornfield (the first of many!)
Welcome to the world of corn! While the following pictures may all look like they were taken in the same place they were in fact taken in three different states. Who knew there was so much corn in the world!
Iowa corn field---------------------------- Illinois corn field--------------------------- Indiana corn field
We stopped in Iowa for the night and then got up the next morning in hopes of making it to Indiana before my moving cube did (which we did thankfully!)
The Mississippi---------------------------- Entering Indiana--------------- Indiana corn and sky
Sorry this post is a bit discombobulated, but I wanted to share some pictures of the drive over and contrast the landscape. Goodbye mountains. Hello corn!

I love living in the middle of corn country. The corn is sooooo goooooooooooood!
Hey, nice pictures! Yeah, the prairie states, you'll have to watch Oklahoma and Music Man again, they'll have a whole new meaning.
I'm so glad you made it safely! I thought the same thing when I visited James in Oklahoma: goodbye mountains!
